Bilge Water Disposal Services in Rucker, California

Depending on the vessels design and function, bilge water could contain water, oil, particles, and other materials.  As it is, our waterways are severely polluted unnecessarily and its everyones responsibility to protect it for future generations.

Oil and fuel contain harmful materials that can affect human health and severely damage our marine environment (including very small amounts). Even a single pint of oil leaked into the water can cover one acre of a marina, impact drinking water and the aquatic ecosystem.

Environmental Logistics, Inc. will dispose of your bilge wastewater before it has an impact on the environment or human health.  We follow all Rucker, Santa Clara County and California safety guidelines and regulations.

Rucker is a historic unincorporated community in Santa Clara County, California, located halfway along the five miles of Monterey Highway between Gilroy and San Martin. The name is official, but not in common use among locals today. Its elevation is listed as 235 feet above mean sea level (AMSL) and NAD27 coordinates are given as 37°03′15″N 121°35′28″W / 37.05417°N 121.59111°W / 37.05417; -121.59111. Supporting the name are local geographic features, Rucker Avenue, Rucker School (K-6), and Rucker Creek. The community was part of the Mexican land grant Rancho San Francisco de las Llagas.

References corroborate use of the name in 1933 to describe a siding on what is now the Union Pacific Railroad, Coast Subdivision. It still appears on modern maps.

The community is inside area codes 408 and 669 and default wired telephone service is provided by the Verizon Gilroy exchange. The district is in ZIP code 95020.

At the southern edge of the San Jose metropolitan area, the community is gradually being developed. The area has historically been agricultural, with many present-day area homes having an acre of land, or more, and horses. Homes often include mature trees and primitive barbed-wire fences. Area crops include turf, alfalfa and other irrigated row crops.
