Based on the vessels design and function, bilge water may contain water, oil, particles, and other materials.  As it is, our waterways are severely polluted unnecessarily and its everyones responsibility to protect it for future generations.

Oil and fuel contain harmful components which can affect human health and severely harm our aquatic environment (even very small amounts). Only a single pint of oil leaked into the water will cover 1 acre of a bay, harming drinking water and the aquatic ecosystem.
