Risks to persons living in homeless (houseless) camps within Bolinas, include fire hazards, mold and mildew, landslides, hazards of diseased pests and rodents as well as a constant threat of violence. With the lack of access to Bolinas infrastructure (e.g., shelter, stormwater management, water and sanitation systems, electricity, heating, trash services) immensely increases the homeless environmental risks to exposure.

Bolinas is an unincorporated coastal community in Marin County, California. The census designated place is located on the California coast, approximately 13 miles (21 km) (straight line distance) northwest of San Francisco.
The community is known for its reclusive residents. It is only accessible via unmarked roads; any road sign along State Route 1 that points the way into town has been torn down by local residents, to the point where county officials offered a ballot measure to which the voters responded by stating a preference for no more signs.
Bolinas Wikipedia PageEnvironmental Logistics, Inc. cannot remove homeless encampments from Bolinas public property unless contracted by the city of Bolinas, Marin County or the state of California. If you are a non-property owner of the property with an encampment, please call Bolinas city offices or the Marin County offices for help.
