Hamlet (also Telmat) is an unincorporated community in Marin County, California. It is located on the northeast shore of Tomales Bay and the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 3 miles (4.8 km) south-southwest of Tomales, at an elevation of 23 feet (7 m).
A post office operated at Hamlet from 1876 to 1886. The Telmat post office operated from 1917 to 1931.
